Position Available:  Primary Care Physician

The Marino Center for Integrative Health is seeking a primary care physician to join our vibrant and growing organization. The Marino Center is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to integrate conventional and complementary healing traditions through clinical care, health education, training, and research. Our clinical staff works collaboratively and consists of 16 Primary Care Physicians (Internal Medicine and Family Medicine), 4 Nurse Practitioners, 2 Rheumatologists, 2 Chiropractors, 3 Acupuncturists, 2 Massage Therapists, 2 Nutritionists, and 4 Mental Health Practitioners.  These providers are divided between our two clinics: one in Wellesley, a suburb of Boston, and the other in Cambridge just outside Porter Square. 

The ideal candidate is someone looking for a position as a full-time primary care provider in a group practice that focuses on wellness and prevention.  Our providers also have appreciation and respect for complementary modalities of care (acupuncture, massage, chiropractic) but are not expected to provide anything more than patient-centered high quality primary care with a focus on wellness and prevention.  The Marino Center participates in all major third-party payment plans.  Our clinicians are all on staff at Newton Wellesley Hospital, a community hospital associated with Harvard Medical School and part of the Partners Network.  As a primary care provider you are not expected to cover your patients in the hospital, we are fully covered by hosptialists but do share after hours call service for our patients by phone.

Our practice is established, large, and continues to grow substantially, with about 50 new patients monthly. We participate with most insurances, including managed care. A typical daily patient load is 12-15 patients, depending on the complexity of the issues, and the individual physician style and experience.

REQUIRMENTS:  MD or DO degree with licensed to practice Medicine in the State of Massachusetts; Board Certified in either Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
